The world's largest single-site golf tournament - a 72-hole tournament played on 66 Myrtle Beach area golf courses each August. Participants compete to be crowned World Amateur Golf Champion and to win more than $500,000 in prizes. The 2005 event attracted almost 4,000 players from all 50 states and 30 foreign nations. Celebrating its 23rd year in 2006 the tournament will partner With FINE LIVING TV NETWORK in search of The Next Wandering Golfer, with Wandering Golfer Host, Chad Maulsby, serving as Honorary Chairman.
